CoTiCon is a small anime convention in Cornwall, organized by cosplayer and designer AnnieChie, AKA Annie DeRochie. This was the third edition of CoTiCon.
Annie is bodyguarded by Rey, who is played by Symphony and Silk Cosplay.
We were honoured to help out as a major sponsor of CoTiCon – this event is worthy of support. Ask Annie about next year’s event!

We also took one portrait of each cosplayer in the masquerade – we could mention that small cons are really great for many reasons but definitely for the masquerade opportunities: the green room time is much reduced, the crowd is smaller and less fright-inducing, and the event is ranked! You can build your rankings in a – what’s the word? – safer environment than at huge conventions.

So this is the first time I do a photo shoot for charity – man that was fun. Hope I can do it again soon.
The 501st Capital City Garrison was on hand at the Capital Gaming Expo‘s garage sale to raise money for Tysen’s Mission To A Million – and took some photos of Tysen himself, receiving his Yoda outfit.
We took shots of anyone who wanted to pose with Darth Vader, Supergirl, Elsa, Captain America and Temari (I could be wrong about Temari – I am no Naruto expert).
So without further ado… check out the photos!
Nikko Marie Cosplay, editor of Cos Culture Magazine, accepted a One Day Cosplay Challenge in which she created a complete cosplay – in this case an original Druid. The costume makes use of Worbla, a thermoplastic material that is shaped with a heat gun, then painted.
Nikko may or may not have taken slightly longer than a day to pull this outfit together, but by all accounts – it was close to a day.
We went to the bike path not from from where I live in Aylmer, Quebec, and used the woods and riverbank of the Ottawa river to take the shots. We started at dawn and worked until about 10:30 am – it was a long, hot morning but we got some AMAZING shots.

Some housekeeping rules: These are cosplayer photos, so the assumption is that folks want to be seen, posted and shared. If your photos are on here, and you don’t want them share, posted or even seen, just ask and I’ll remove them to a folder only you can access. I’ll need some sort of compelling proof that you’re the person in the photos.
My watermark automatically goes on every image. It’s small and out of the way. I use a watermark because I want to make sure everyone who sees my pictures can easily find me in case they want to hire me. If you use my photos for self-promotion, I would appreciate credit. And of course if you cut the watermark off, that raises questions.
Remember: even though you paid me to take the images, I own the copyright on each and every one. You are allowed to use the images for personal use, self-promotion and any other non-paid activity – but if you want to sell them, or use them in any way that generates direct revenue, we need to have a conversation about profit sharing. I reserve the right to use any or all of these images in a similar fashion – and if I decide I want to sell some of them, I will absolutely not do so without your permission, and an agreement for profit-sharing.
