Ottawa Pride, August 27, 2023
Second time I attended the Ottawa Capital Pride event, and this time not in the parade. (Last year, I was in the parade as a photographer, documenting the attendance of my co-workers from EDC, the place I worked at for 30 years before retiring this spring).
The weather was PERFECT.
Attendance was STELLAR.
The participants were (for the most part) AMAZING. (commercial banks, grocery chains and other villains in today's society might have abstained from marching in the parade, but I guess the biggest bank of them all sponsored the whole event, so there is that. Also, we can't minimize the participation of the people who work for those companies - you are seen, and valued.)
I tried to get every entry in the parade, so if you see youself in these images or in the larger photo album, grab 'em! Use 'em! Go Pride!
