Awesome Event!
2026 Capital Pride was awesome! This year, there was a new path from Lebreton Flats, down Wellington, then Bank, then Gloucester. Wide views, no traffic, great parade. There were some issues with buses from Gatineau, though.
Here are all of the photos taken during the parade. I tried to get all of the groups that participated, but I still missed a few.
Of note: my friend Frank Emanuel repped the Britannia United Church and my old workplace Export Development Canada.
After the parade Frank and I had wings and a club sandwich at a pub on Bank Street. The weather was perfect. I'm always struck by how happy everyone is at this event.
