7 Weeks After
Unless something happens, this is going to be the last post on my health. It's been 7 weeks since the operation and I feel great. I've done a couple of photo gigs in the past week and I can confirm that I am good to go.
The first was an engagement session in Chinatown with a lovely couple for a June 21 wedding in Ottawa.
The second was a 3 hour wedding shoot with another lovely couple at Cumberland Belle, a very nice wedding venue 20 minutes East of Ottawa.
In both cases, my sister Francyne (francynephotography.ca) was the lead, because we didn't know if I would be up to the task - before the operation, I asked all of my clients if they would accept Francyne as their photographer instead of me because we didn't know what the outcome would be. Turns out I'm good to go! Just to be safe, Francyne is still going to be coming to all of my big gigs until I can drive again.
So I'm back to taking photography jobs for the summer and beyond. Note that until November, I'll be bringing either Francyne or a helper because I'm not allowed to drive for 6 months after, you know, brain surgery. After that, sky's the limit!
